We recently stayed at the hotel La Genzianella in Bormio to watch the World Cup races in December. Charming hotel accompanied by the warmth and hospitality of the owners. Our room was a triple room on the first floor from the typical alpine wooden style wooden but modern exactly as we like very large as square footage and bright. Clean and tidy everywhere, close to the slopes and lifts, pleasant walk to reach the centre. Excellent dinners with specialties from Valtellina, never obvious dishes and good choice for vegetarians like us! Staff always available and friendly, congratulations really! see you soon.

The hotel is well located, very close to the main ski lifts and also to the historic centre. The family management and the style of the hotel gave us a warm and attentive welcome. Our stay was enriched and made even more enjoyable by the food and activities offered by the hotel which go beyond skiing..

Even though our stay was short, the owners and staff made us fully appreciate this wonderful structure: a true alpine chic hotel. The care of everything around us shows a great passion on the part of those who run this little paradise. A feast for the eyes and the palate thanks to the excellent restaurant which offers guests several choices of first and second courses. The choice of mini-desserts is remarkable, with the possibility of having seconds or three… Excellent opportunity to recharge the battery of our electric car for free. The location of the structure is excellent, a few steps from the footbridge that takes you to the centre of Bormio. Our room, although not very large, was very comfortable with excellent cleanliness. Comfortable beds and a peaceful rest. Although we did not use it we noticed a very good service for bike lovers. Last but not least, the breakfast: spectacular, for choice and quality.
