It is important for us to be able to share our love for our homeland with our guests, even at the table. Our chef Giuseppe Simonelli will take you on a culinary journey through our beautiful region. The menu includes:

We love pets, but unfortunately, due to numerous problems in the past, we can no longer allow them in the hotel or restaurant.

Bormio Terme
Bormio Terme is a modern centre, where it is possible to choose classic thermal treatments (mud baths, inhalations, physiotherapy, rehabilitation) or thermal baths. The services offered for those who buy the entrance ticket to the sport and wellness area are the following: swimming pool, children’s pool, thermal lodge, sauna, steam-bath and relaxation area. Bormio Terme is the only one the 3 thermal centres affiliated with the national health service.
QC Terme Bagni Vecchi
Breathe the air of history in the characteristic and evocative Bagni Vecchi. The San Martino sweat grotto, a natural steam bath built in 1827, and the Roman Baths are a true plunge into the past. The entrance ticket entitles you to access a route with more than 30 different (outdoor panoramic pool, sweat grotto, settling tanks, relaxation rooms, saunas, mud baths). It is the most famous, well-known and therefore the most crowded centre..
QC Terme Bagni Nuovi
The name hides the true origin of this centre. The Grand Hotel***** annexed to the thermal centre was in fact inaugurated in 1836. After a long closure and extensive restoration work, the spa was reopened in 2003. The main difference with he Bagni Vecchi is the extension of the spa services to the outside (10 thermal baths in the large garden) and the Art Nouveau atmosphere.

QC Terme Bagni Nuovi and Bagni Vecchi: for those who want to relax or spend a romantic moment. Both
Bagni Nuovi and Bagni Vecchi are charming and beautiful! Choosing is difficult, but for those who only have
time for one visit, we recommend the Bagni Vecchi, unique and special in the European spa scene.

Bormio Terme is located in the centre, a 10-minute walk from Hotel Baita La Genzianella. To reach the centre it is possible a free city bus (green or blue line – the nearest stop is 30 meters from the hotel on the opposite side of the street). For those moving by car \underground parking is available for a fee.
QC Terme Bagni Vecchi is located on the main road to Stelvio (about 4 km from the hotel), on the slopes of Mount Reit. Not always accessible by public transport. Limited possibility of Taxi parking (up to 3 people) can be booked at the hotel reception for €10 + €1 for each additional person.
QC Terme Bagni Nuovi is located on the main road to Livigno (about 3 km from the hotel). It is not reached by public transport. Limited possibility of Taxi parking (up to 3 people) which can be booked at the hotel reception at a cost of 8 € + 1 € for each additional person.

QC Terme Bagni Nuovi and QC Terme Bagni Vecchi:
- Day ticket for our customers from Monday to Thursday € 52 instead of € 58. Fridays, Saturdays Sundays, public holidays € 64
- 5-hour escape ticket for our customers from Monday to Thursday €46. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, public holidays and festivities € 52.
- Evening ticket from 7.30pm € 42. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, public holidays and festivities € 48.
The entrance ticket gives free access to the entire spa route. It includes bathrobe, bath towel, slippers and self use courtesy products with thermal water from the QC Terme line Spa line, participation in some wellness events that will be indicated at the time of entry. Bormio Terme: remember your swim-suite, swimming cap (mandatory), shampoo and shower bath. It is possible to hire a bathrobe (3€) and bath towel (1,50€). Swimming caps can be purchased (€2.50). QC Terme Bagni Nuovi and QC Terme Bagni Vecchi: a swim suite is enough. You will receive your change at the ticket office.
Bormio Terme: children are admitted at any age.
QC Terme Bagni Nuovi e QC Terme Bagni Vecchi: only children aged 14 and over are admitted.
Bormio Terme: no reservation is possible.
QC Terme Bagni Nuovi e QC Terme Bagni Vecchi: reservations are highly recommended for weekends and holidays during busy periods.

The thermal waters of Bormio flow from 9 springs, at an altitude varying from 1280 to 1420 metres. The mineral waters flow out at a temperature between 37° and 43° C, which varies according the season: warmer in winter, because the frozen ground does not allow the infiltration of the water, at varying temperatures in summer, depending on atmospheric precipitation. They have detoxifying, regenerating, relaxing, anti-stress and anti-inflammatory properties for a complete get in shape. At Bagni Nuovi and Bagni Vecchi, each pool is fed by running thermal water \without the addition of chlorine.
