How nice it is to wake up in the mountains. Here at la Genzianella I have discovered that stone pine, the wood from which my room is built, can calm and lower my heart rate. I make myself a coffee, make myself comfortable on the balcony. I need only look up to admire the peaks around me. Spruces, meadows, dolomite rocks. In winter, the skiers’ turns on the Stelvio slope, an Olympic alpine ski slope, mesmerize me as the sun embraces me.

The sitting area, divided by a sliding door from the bedroom, can accommodate a third bed.

Every morning from 7.30 to 10.00 La Genzianella offers a rich breakfast with cappuccino, fruit juices, honey straight from the honeycomb, cakes, different kind of brioches from “Le Bonette” bakery, yogurt, fresh fruit and cereal. Do not miss savory alternatives, cheeses, local cold cuts and cooked dishes as pancakes, eggs and bacon.

We recommend to try the farmer’s butter, coming directly from the alpine pasture, combined with rye bred from Valtellina and homemade jams.
Ask the staff for gluten free and lactose free products.
It is possible to book breakfast even if you are not guest at the hotel.
